The Mission of the Maine Alpaca Association is: To provide support for the alpaca owners, breeders and enthusiasts of Maine through education, camaraderie and cooperative marketing efforts. To educate the public about alpacas, their fiber and the many advantages of operating sustainable alpaca farms and fiber operations.

Each month we ask one of our members farms to write a brief article about what is currently going on at their farm. Click here to view this month's featured farm. Each farm is a little different from the next. That is one of the things that makes this such an exciting business! Our membership represents a wide array of ages, lifestyle, farm size and experience. We probably have a member alot like you. Check back often to see a snapshot of another Maine Alpaca Farm. He has provided us a PDF version of his presentation so that those that could not attend the meeting have access to the information.
