Celebrate by joining us for
Maine Alpaca Association
Open Farm Weekend

They say the best things in life are free… so come spend the morning or an afternoon "down on the farm" and learn about alpacas ~ our wonderful, curious animals from South America.

17 alpacas… including 3 new babies! We will have both Huacaya & Suri on display, as well as chickens, goats & Angora bunnies! Tour our facility and see how easy it is to convert a home, a garage and a few acres of grass into a viable habitat for these lovely animals, watch a demonstration of spinning yarn or an alpaca obstacle course, and enjoy refreshments while learning about these peaceful animals.

Our events for the day will include: (call for schedule if heavy rain)
Tours ~ All day              Q & A ~ All day
Activities for the kids ~ On going      Spinning demonstrations ~ 11am-3pm
Alpaca obstacle course ~ 11:30am & 2pm
… and more!
Come view our farm store where you can choose from an assortment of items for sale including yarns and roving in natural colors, as well as finished products ~ sweaters, scarves, gloves/mittens, Teddy Bears and more! We will gladly accept your special order. (Visa and MasterCard accepted)
