www.royalsboroughinn.com "Enjoy the peace and serenity you deserve!" Visit the "Namaste Alpaca Farm" on the property of the Royalsborough Inn at the Bagley House is Durham, Maine. The farm is a recent addition to the B&B, which has been in operation since 1982. Prior to the creation of the B&B the property was a dairy farm for 179 years. We are the only B&B in Maine with an alpaca farm. The alpaca are regal in appearance. As a guest at our B&B, you can watch them in the pasture. They are gentle and inquisitive. They might investigate your presence, but they are not fond of being petted. We have seven alpacas and three Llamas on the farm. Meet our two new Crias: DaVinci and Michelangelo. During your visit, we will answer any of your questions about the care and breeding of alpaca. We will also show you samples of fiber and discuss the fiber process. We will have yarn and alpaca products for sale. You may also take a tour of the Inn. Directions: Take Route 295 to exit 22. Take Route 136 towards Lewiston/Auburn. Watch for the "Royalsborough Inn" sign. Meet us in the pasture. |
