The property is under restoration and is home to a growing herd of alpacas, thirty by the end of the year. We will have cider and cookies available for snacking. There will be on-going handspinning and hand-felting demonstrations on both days. We will also be available to answer questions regarding care, history, and financial rewards of alpaca ownership. Raw fleece, rovings, and custom designed one of a kind finished products made from our animals will be available for purchase. Directions: (from Portland) Outer Congress St. becomes Rte 22 stay on Rte. 22 for about 12 miles. We are one mile after the Buxton post office on the left hand side- just before the intersection of 22 and 112. Old farmhouse with attached barn.
